Jacob received his Bachelor of Science degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and his law degree from Marquette University Law School.


During his time in law school, he interned with the National Junior College Athletic Association, the University of Notre Dame Athletics Compliance Department, and the NCAA’s Office of the Committee on Infractions. Prior to law school, he worked for the Nebraska Legislature as a legislative aide and the Nebraska Secretary of State as an elections specialist.


He also spent a memorable season working part-time for the Milwaukee Brewers as a racing sausage, although he never finished better than fourth and injured his back in his final race. Jacob is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Waukesha County Bar Association, and the Milwaukee Bar Association.
