Stephen P. Schmidt is the president of Schmidt, Rupke, Tess-Mattner & Fox, S.C. and practices in the areas of residential real estate, estate planning, and probate.


He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Marquette University (1980) and his law degree from Hamline University Law School (1983). He was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 1983.


His professional memberships include the State Bar of Wisconsin (Real Property and Elder Law Sections), and the Milwaukee Bar Association (Probate Practice & Procedure, Real Property Law, and Taxation Sections).
