Zachary D. Brenner
Zachary D. Brenner is an associate attorney at Schmidt, Rupke, Tess-Mattner & Fox, S.C. He has undergraduate degrees in Architecture and Environmental Design, cum laude, from the University of Houston and a law degree, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he was an editor of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal. While in law school, he received the CALI Award for the highest grade in five classes: Legal Writing I, Legal Writing II, Appellate Advocacy, Secured Transactions, and Comparative Freedom of Speech.
Following graduation, he worked for over eighteen months as law clerk to the Honorable David L. Borowski, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge, in both the Civil and Probate Divisions, and for several years at a small firm where he did primarily insurance defense work.
His professional memberships include State Bar of Wisconsin (Litigation Section), Waukesha County Bar Association, Milwaukee Bar Association, American Association for Justice (formerly Association of Trial Lawyers of America), and the Wisconsin Association for Justice (formerly Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers).
